Rainy Day Bull

Here is some footage of a bull we ran into during the archery elk hunt. I love chasing bulls in a light rain like this. Unfortunately, this bull was heading towards the same group of bugles that we were and we were having a hard time getting around him.

Fishin' For Bulls

I had a great weekend fishing one of the high country trout lakes here in AZ this weekend with my friend Carl. Just before dark one evening, a group of bull elk came down for a drink in the cove we were fishing. I was able to burn a little wobbly footage as our trolling motor inched us a little closer.

Hwy Honey Hole Bull

I filmed this bull while hunting the last day of the archery elk season with Scott and Houston. Too bad he broke the back half of his rack on his right side. He was in a little honey hole we found not far from the highway.

Rockytop Bull

Another nice AZ High Country bull I was able to film while scouting just a couple days before elk season started.

Shakey Meadow Bull

After taking a nice bull during the morning hunt, I was scouting this area for a shooter to hunt with a new hunter that would be joining me the next day. Unfortunately I was caught with my tripod in my pack and I had to hold the camera free hand. This bull really put on a nice show.

Drop Tine Bull

Video of a bull we called in to 15 yards while standing at a bull we just shot! This young bull has a cool drop tine on his left side.

Flat Top Bull

We ran into this bull on the last day of the archery elk hunt. He is a mature bull with some character and great tine length up front, however his tops seem to have "flattened out".

Toby the Toad

This local legend made it through several hunting seasons and was nick named "Toby the Toad". He has a great set of antlers with a distinguished look. Here is a bit of footage taken just days before the archery season opened.
